HISTORY OF SKYER LAW

The Law Offices of Regina Skyer and Associates, (also known as “Skyer Law”) was founded in 1992 by Regina Skyer, a qualified Social Worker and Attorney.   By the time Regina began practicing law she was already well known as an administrator and innovator in the field of special education.  She went to law school for the sole purpose of practicing in the area of special education law and helping parents of special needs children.  She quickly became a powerful advocate, mediator and litigator.

Regina began as a solo practitioner but as her success and reputation grew she began recruiting and training lawyers, advocates and paralegals.  Her firm now includes: 10 attorneys, two qualified paralegals, two masters level advocates and two legal assistants.  Every member of Regina’s highly professional and  competent staff share her expert knowledge,  passion and commitment to enabling “special” children to receive an education that maximizes their potential and abilities.
