My son is aging out of EI on his birthday, December 31st. I'm finding quality CPSE pre-schools are already full for September and not likely to have an opening come January. Others want his evaluation in hand when we visit. We've just begun the CPSE eval process, and I pushed for it to come sooner rather than later knowing schools are filling. I feel I'm at such a loss. It doesn't seem the school system is designed for entry in January. I don't want my son to go without service at any point, but with him not speaking I also feel I do not want to put him in a school I'm not comfortable with. Any advice is most appreciated.
