Lois worked for the Department of Education for over 33 years developing an expertise in all aspects of special education and the policies and practices of the Committee on Special Education (C.S.E.). Lois holds a bachelors degree in Education from SUNY New Paltz in 1973 and a Masters Degree in Special Education from Richmond College in 1978. Once retiring from the D.O.E. she joined SkyerLaw in order to continue working as a champion for the rights of children with disabilities
