Our Team
Heather Mendez is an attorney at SkyerLaw, where she represents families navigating the special education system. She earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School, where she pursued coursework focused on children’s rights, and public interest.
During law school, Heather was selected for the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital—a nationally recognized program that strengthened her interdisciplinary approach to supporting children with developmental challenges.
Heather completed her undergraduate studies at CUNY Queens College, graduating with honors. Her background blends legal expertise with a deep commitment to public service and child advocacy, making her a compassionate and steadfast advocate for the students and families she serves.
