Greg Cangiano

Gregory Cangiano was inspired to pursue special education law by his mother, a guidance counselor whose life’s work was supporting children with special needs. Greg joined the firm as an associate in 2006 and became a partner in 2015. Deeply committed to empowering parents and educators in the IEP process, Greg served as an adjunct professor at Bank Street College of Education from 2008 to 2012, where he taught a graduate course titled Communication and Collaboration: What the Law Intended. He designed the course to explore how the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) calls for true collaboration in developing and implementing IEPs.
