Cayle White

Special Needs Benefits and Services Coordinator

Cayle White's path to special needs benefits consulting is deeply personal. As the sibling of a brother with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and as the parent of a son with ASD, she developed a firsthand understanding of the challenges families face in navigating complex systems of care and support.

Cayle began her professional journey as an educational consultant, where her commitment to families of individuals with developmental disabilities took root. She later transitioned to benefits navigation and future planning, serving families through the JCC Manhattan Center for Diverse Abilities before establishing her own private practice across New York and New Jersey.

Cayle's work centers on helping families navigate government benefits and services—including those administered by OPWDD, Medicaid, and Social Security—while putting in place the legal protections and planning tools needed to preserve benefits eligibility and ensure long-term financial security. She also collaborates with future planning professionals to help families identify housing placements, employment opportunities, and other essential resources.

A Certified Self-Direction Broker and Social Security Work Incentive Benefits Advisor, Cayle is recognized for her specialized expertise in empowering families to take greater control over their loved ones' services and supports. She was instrumental in organizing a grassroots advocacy group dedicated to advancing the goals of families utilizing Self-Direction programs.

She lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with her family and enjoys travel and volunteering in her community.
