Jaime Chlupsa

Jaime is a dedicated special education attorney with a deep-rooted commitment to advocating for the rights of children and families. After graduating from Franklin & Marshall College, she began her career in social work at New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services, where she worked directly with vulnerable children and gained firsthand insight into the systemic challenges faced by families navigating public service and education systems.

After two years of challenging and meaningful work with ACS, Jaime earned her law degree, cum laude, from New York Law School, carrying her social work values into the legal realm. She began her legal career at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where she honed her litigation skills and built a strong foundation in advocacy and trial work.

Following four years as an Assistant District Attorney, Jaime joined the New York City Department of Education, where she quickly earned a reputation as a skilled and respected litigator. Recognizing her talent and her unwavering commitment to children, we invited Jaime to bring her expertise to SkyerLaw. She joined the firm in 2009 and became a partner in 2023.

Jaime lives in Lower Manhattan with her husband, three daughters, and beloved French Bulldog, Migo. In her limited spare time, she enjoys running and cheering on her daughters as a proud soccer and softball mom.
