Our Team
Olivia's interest in special education law began through her own experience navigating the New York City school system. Born and raised in New York City, she attended both public and private schools, where she observed firsthand that many students in the public education system were not receiving the resources and support they needed to succeed.
Olivia pursued her undergraduate studies at Indiana University with a major in Law and Public Policy and a minor in Education Policy, where she developed a deeper understanding of the intersection between education law and public policy. It was during this time that she realized she wanted to become an attorney and advocate for students and families.
While attending New York Law School, Olivia participated in a year-long Education Law Clinic, where she partnered with the New York Civil Liberties Union's Education Policy Center. Her work focused on addressing systemic educational issues affecting students throughout New York State.
Following law school, Olivia joined the Juvenile Rights Practice at The Legal Aid Society, where she zealously advocated for children in Family Court child protective proceedings. This experience strengthened her courtroom litigation skills while providing a strong foundation in child advocacy, client counseling, and navigating complex legal systems on behalf of vulnerable children and their families.
Olivia joined SkyerLaw in 2026, where she continues to advocate for children and families. She lives in New York City with her fiancé and enjoys spending time with her family.
