Phil Goldsmith
Special Education Advocate
Phil joined SkyerLaw in 2005 following a distinguished 33-year career with the New York City Department of Education.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Language Therapy with a minor in Elementary Education from Brooklyn College in 1972, and went on to receive his Master of Science degree in the Education of the Speech, Language, and Hearing Impaired in 1975.
From 1978 through 2005, Phil worked with the Committee on Special Education, where he evaluated students with educational and speech-language needs and served as the school district’s representative at Impartial Hearings.
With over 50 years of experience working with students with special needs and their families, Phil brings unparalleled expertise and insight to the SkyerLaw team.
