Sadia Rahman

Sadia Rahman is Of Counsel at SkyerLaw, bringing more than 15 years of legal experience and over a decade of focus in education law. She previously served at the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, where she investigated disability rights cases, resolved disputes, and guided schools in meeting federal compliance obligations.

Earlier in her career, Sadia represented the New York City Department of Education in special education litigation and later supervised a team of attorneys handling those matters. She began her legal career at the Legal Aid Society, where she gained extensive courtroom experience and developed a strong commitment to ensuring that every client has a voice in the process.

Sadia earned both her J.D. and B.B.A. in Finance from Hofstra University. She is deeply passionate about helping families secure the educational supports their children need to thrive.

Outside of work, Sadia enjoys life as the proud mother of two young boys.
