Last week, 17 SkyerLaw attorneys traveled to Arlington, Virginia to attend the annual Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates Annual Conference, the nation’s leading conference focused exclusively on special education advocacy.
The multi-day event brought together attorneys, advocates, parents, and professionals from across the country to share strategies, sharpen legal skills, and collaborate on advancing educational equity for students with disabilities. Our team participated in intensive training sessions, connected with leaders in the field, and explored practical tools to strengthen our advocacy on behalf of the families we serve.
The conference also offered extensive continuing legal education (CLE) programming, with up to 22 CLE hours available through specialized sessions focused on special education law and practice.
